Airport
Cottage Grove State Airport was constructed in 1965 through a joint venture between the Board of Aeronautics, the FAA, and the local community. The community of Cottage Grove has recognized the importance of an airport to the economic development of its area. The community's support of the construction of the airport is evidence of its recognition. Several business class aircrafts currently operate at the airport. The airport is categorized as a level 3 airport with a 3,200 foot runway and a new pilots’ lounge.
