Opal Center at Arcade Theater vitalizes the regional community by offering unique and diverse educational, and cultural programs and opportunities. The Arcade Theater is an eclectic community theater for downtown Cottage Grove, featuring locally grown live theater performances, movies, music, dancing, and other creative goodness. It is a venue for artists of all kinds to show their talents off in style!

Cottage Theatre

The Cottage Theatre is engaging and enriching for the community through the magic of live theatre. Its core values are at the heart of the theatre community and guide everything they do. The Cottage Theater strives to create a welcoming environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. The theater aims for excellence and a continually higher standard with every production.

Cottage Theatre produces a year-round main season of six shows, typically half plays and half musicals. Its main season shows each run for 3 to 4 weekends, and the theater presents about 75 performances annually. The theater also offers summer theatre camps for children ages 5 to 14 and occasionally partners with other local arts organizations to offer music and dance events in our facility.
